Avon is great!
Jeff, I’m going to be completely honest.. I don’t know how to respond to this.. I haven’t seen customer service like this since the late 80’s You guys have blown my mind over and over. I’m a complete newbie in the card business, your staff have been helpful far beyond what’s required making sure I’m completely satisfied. I’m not going to be a big player by any means, probably only looking at a few hundred cards a year, but you’re staff treat me like an enterprise account, and that’s what’s going to keep me coming back. Please make sure your team reads this. They’re doing great!

Avon is fantastic!
We previously used preprinted security backgrounds and holographic film on our cards. After changing printers, we explored other options and transitioned to cards with a hot-stamp security feature, similar to those found on driver’s licences, health cards, and credit cards. I’ve worked with several ID companies over the years, but for many years now I’ve relied on Avon Security Products. They are fantastic! Their team is knowledgeable, experienced, and provides recommendations based on your organization’s size and needs. The service has always been excellent, and I highly recommend them.

Thanks again for all your support and collaboration!
Hi Jeff, Thanks again for bringing in Al on such short notice. Also, a huge shoutout to Al for working so diligently in a loud and chaotic environment, and for showing us some great tips and tricks with these new printers. Al wasn’t able to fully resolve one of the printers due to some colour streaking, so he brought it back with him for further maintenance. The good news is that leaves us with six printers to work from in the meantime. Thanks again for all your support and collaboration!

Thank you SO SO SO much
Good afternoon, Jeff! My team had packed the hole punches in a different box, so don't be alarmed if the first one that's opened has empty hole punch boxes. We were able to make use of one of the ZXP 3s with another department--which they are extremely grateful for. Attendee satisfaction and enjoyment of the convention depends heavily on their experience at Registration. A long wait time for passes can sour the entire weekend and we would not have been able to process everyone as quickly as we did if not for your assistance. In the end, we had record-setting numbers and were able to raise over $22,000 for our charity this year, something that might not have been possible if not for the quick assistance of you and your team. From all of us here, thank you SO SO SO much for all your help!

Event went off beautifully
Good afternoon, Jeff! The event went off beautifully. Our IT team was amused to find that one of the printers still had our network configuration from last year. I'm just in the process of looking for a local Purolator hub so I can get these boxes sent back to you.

Organizations needing to print less than 25 cards per year may find it more economical to use a card printing service.
Dual-sided printers usually cost significantly more than single-sided printers. In some cases a single-sided printer can be used to print both sides of an ID card:
If the back of every card is identical (i.e.: If lost, return to... This card is property of...), you can use a single-sided printer and pre-print a batch of card backs, often using an inexpensive black ribbon. Those cards can be sent through the printer a second time to include customized information on the other side. This method is not recommended for printing on technology cards due to possible damage it could cause to the card.
Even if the back and front is unique for every card, you can print one side of an ID card, flip it over and print the back. This is much more time consuming, and is not recommended for organizations that print a large volume of ID Cards. This method is also not recommended for printing on technology cards due to possible damage it could cause to the card.
Only a few models of ID card printers on the market are compatible with Mac computers.
There is currently not any commercial ID card software that is compatible with Mac computers. If at all possible, we recommend using a PC to manage an ID card system.
