If the license still not being recognized

Method 1: Recover the License

  1. Open cardPresso.

  2. Go to Menu → CP → cardPresso License.

  3. Click Recover Online (or Verify Online).

  4. Close cardPresso completely, then reopen it.

    • If the license is still not recognized, continue with Method 2.

Method 2: Format the USB & Rebuild the License

⚠️ Important: If you have personal files saved on the USB, back them up before formatting.

  1. Format the USB drive

    • Open File Explorer.

    • Click This PC in the left panel.

    • Under Devices and drives, right-click the USB drive and select Format.

    • In the File system dropdown, choose FAT32.

    • In the Volume label field, enter a name (e.g., CardPresso).

    • Under Format options, check Quick Format.

    • Click Start, then click Yes to confirm.

  2. Rebuild the license on USB

    • Open cardPresso.

    • Go to Menu → CP → cardPresso License → USB tab.

    • Click Verify Online.

    • The license should now connect to the cardPresso server and rebuild.

    • A green checkmark will appear when the process is complete.

  3. Verify license detection

    • Close cardPresso completely.

    • Reopen it to confirm the license is recognized.
