HDP5000e Error 544 Job Data Error when sending card to print

Solution: There are multiple reasons that would cause the HDP5000e to fail to print that results in error 544. Usually this is due to Color Correction, Firmware, or Ethernet/USB communication issue.

1. Check Firmware and Driver versions and update if needed. Website downloads link – https://www.hidglobal.com/drivers
2. If using USB, check USB Cable. Make sure it’s the one that came with the printer and is less than 6ft. If going through USB Hub or a dock attempt to plug in USB directly to PC.
3. If using Ethernet attempt to connect/print via USB and see if the issue continues. If it does look into issues with ethernet cord/outlet
4. Go to Printing Preferences – Advanced – Color Correction and set to Legacy or None.
